Ages 0 to 24 mos: Thursdays at 1:30pm at the Pump Station in Santa Monica. through 7/29. Starting again September 2nd.

Wed August 11th * 6:30pm * Opening for Vanessa Trien * Birdie will fly to the East Coast to play 3 songs at the Emerson Park Summer Concert Series in Brookline, Massachusetts. For more info call 617-730-2129.

Sat September18th * 11am * Family Day in the Park * Join us for the LA Gay & Lesbian Centers' Family Day in the Park series at West Hollywood Park: 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. 90069.

Sun October 3rd * time TBD * Natural History Museum of LA * In honor of Reptile Appreciation Day there'll be 3 sets by Birdie's Playhouse.

Sat October 9th * 10am * Kidspace Museum * Watch Birdie & her gutiarist at the Kidspace PUMPKIN Festival. This event goes all weekend long!

Sun October 10th* 11am * McCabes * The full band will jam at this historic venue for 50 minutes. Come rock with us! $8 per person.

Sun October 31st* time TBD * Mar Vista Farmers Market * Halloween show! The full band will jam at this awesome westside farmers market. Family Dance Jam will also be getting the kiddies on their feet. FREE.

Birdie's Band for Grownups
Birdie also does LATIN & JAZZ MUSIC for grownups! Her Birdie Mendoza band boasts clients like the Ritz, Dancing with the Stars & the Roosevelt hotel. This group performs Bossa Nova, Latin Standards & classic jazz with Birdie on lead vocals accompanied by guitar or a full band. Cow's End Sing-along
Every Thursday from 10:30 to 11am at the Cow's End in Venice, a different kids music artist leads a fun sing-along great for ages 0-3. Admission is free, but tips are encouraged. Please no outside coffee or food, unless it's for your child. And please either fold strollers under the stairs or keep strollers outside -- out of the way of Cow's End patrons. Support the Cow's End and the artists to keep this event going strong. The Cow's End Cafe is at 34 Washington Blvd. Venice, 90292. Go straight up the stairs to the back room and get ready to sing! In July, Birdie opened for the hip Brooklyn duo The Pop Ups & their Puppet Musical "PASTA. " The Electric Lodge was packed & rockin!
